About SEED LA
SEED LA is a college-preparatory, public boarding school, managed by The SEED Foundation, preceded by The SEED School of Washington, DC, The SEED School of Maryland, and The SEED School of Miami.
SEED LA seeks to serve youth who would benefit most from a 24-hour learning environment, students who:
Meet low-income requirements
Live in underserved areas of LA County
Are referred by mentor, pastor, social worker
Have experienced homelessness
Are “resilient youth” engaged by county child welfare system
Have families who live in Vermont/ Manchester neighborhood
