2019 SEED Foundation Scholarship Recipient

Jake Beairsto (SEED MD ‘19)

Jake Beairsto has always been interested in political science, investigative journalism, and botanical science. Through SEED’s external opportunities program, Jake secured an internship with Senator Van Hollen’s office and his interest in politics has grown.  Jake has applied to 19 schools, but really has his sights set on Pace University, in New York City. He wants to study political science.

“I would recommend SEED to other students, because SEED offers a safe place to focus on your education 5 days a week. It really helps students who may be dealing with a challenging situation.”
