EBONY GRANT, ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Ebony’s passion lies within serving vulnerable communities; her past endeavors speak to the work she’s actively participated in to ensure all people have equal access to education and essential social services that will improve their quality of life.

Ebony graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Barry University. She began her career in public service as a City Year Miami Corp Member and served as a Public Ally for Public Allies Miami. She transitioned to the private sector for a few years before deciding public service was her true calling. Ultimately, she went back to school and obtained her master’s degree in Public Administration from George Mason University: Schar School of Policy and Government, graduating in May 2021.

Her journey up to this point has been one full of constant transition. It has led Ebony to her current role with SEED, a position she believes offers the most impact to one of the most vulnerable groups: our youth. Outside of continuous efforts to make a difference in disenfranchised communities in her career, she loves her dog Leche, traveling off the beaten path, the outdoors, including biking, hiking, kayaking, and volunteering with stakeholders in her local community.
