Chloe Marshall, Director of Leadership and Program Design
Dr. Marshall is a transformational leader and educator with more than 20 years of experience as a creative problem solver, curriculum leader, school administrator, and a strategic planner for school improvement in both traditional and public charter schools. She has extensive experience in cultivating a school’s academic culture and climate through high-quality professional development.
Dr. Marshall has served in several different capacities throughout her career as a classroom teacher, Title I instructional coach, principal, regional director and educational consultant. Her responsibilities and expertise include systems change efforts, curriculum and instruction, design and evaluation of professional development, and school improvement initiatives.
With expertise in designing and implementing core programs, Dr. Marshall has been intentional and deliberate in executing the goals of the organization by galvanizing members of the team. Her passion for understanding leadership has equipped her to serve as a systems thinker and executive coach for new principals. In 2011, Dr. Marshall was recognized by the Washington Post as the recipient of the Distinguished Educational Leadership Award (DELA). She is committed to promoting the learning and success of all students by creating learning environments where all stakeholders are empowered to do the necessary work for children.
Dr. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Memphis (1997), a Master of Science degree in School Administration and Supervision (2001), an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Supervision (2003), and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Union University (2005).
