As the Development Writer for The SEED Foundation, Emily gets to tell the success stories of The SEED Foundation and the SEED schools to supporters and stakeholders. She has called the Washington, D.C. area home since she began her studies at George Washington University, where she majored in Creative Writing. She has worked in nonprofits and associations for most of her professional career, including the First Tee of Washington, DC and the ASAE Research Foundation. Working for SEED allows her to do what she loves—tell the stories of people and organizations that are making an impact.

She spends her free time running, reading, hiking, and planning her next beach trip.
