Overview

SEED supports its students beyond graduation. The college transition and support program was launched in 2005 with the goal of providing college and career transitional support to SEED graduates as they work toward their future goals. Services provided to alumni include academic and career advising, financial aid counseling and class alumni activities.  Additionally, the alumni relations program manages The SEED Foundation Scholarship, a scholarship that eligible graduates may receive during their first and second year of college.  The director of college transition and support also travels to colleges across the country to visit with SEED alumni and university representatives to fully support our graduates’ post-secondary success.

To address the complex transitional needs of our alumni, the college transition and support program is creating a network of resources which alumni across the country can access as needed. This resource base will include formal and informal partnerships with organizations that have expertise in the areas of Mentoring, Internships & Career Development, Academic Support, and Family Assistance. These partnerships will enable alumni to bridge the worlds of success at SEED with success in college and beyond, as well as benefit from leaders in diverse fields.

"…a school where they are beating all the odds."
